There are some causes that need to be excluded when older healthy adults start getting dream enactment behaviour (REM Sleep Behaviour Disorder – RBD). If these are excluded then the question becomes whether idiopathic RBD is a associated with the later development of Parkinson’s Disease, Lewy Body Dementia and Multiple System Atrophy.
